Endometrial Receptivity Array (ERA)
ERA is a test to determine at what point in time the endometrium is most receptive and can obtain a successful transplant. ERA, endometrial receptivity array is a genetic test that diagnoses the state of endometrial receptivity in the window of implantation in women. Essentially, it is a test that checks the DNA levels, and whether or not the endometrium can have a transplant on the day of the transfer, when transferring the thawed blastocyst.
How are ERA samples taken
To perform this analysis it is necessary to take an endometrial biopsy from women in their natural cycle or hormone replacement therapy cycles, at a time corresponding to the phase of endometrial receptivity.
